India’s First Ever Dance Fair, dancejathre 2019

Shambhavi School of Dance is happy to organize the eighth edition of dancejathre 2019, India’s First Ever Dance Fair, on 26th & 27th January at Shankaraa, Kanakapura Road, Bengaluru (Near Yelachenahalli Metro Station). dancejathre is the brain child of Smt. Vyjayanthi Kashi – Presidential Awardee, Member of Sangeet Natak Academy, Delhi and Ex-Chairperson of Karnataka Sangeeta Nritya Academy, Bengaluru.

Highlights of dancejathre 2019:

  • India’s one and only dance fair from dawn to dusk.
  • 13 Workshops from experts in13 variety of art forms meant for individuals with any or no proficiency level.
  • 5 Performances featuring 2 Padma Shri Awardees – Smt. Geeta Chandran & Smt. Illeana Citaristi, 2 Presidential Awardees from Kendra Sangeet Natak Akademi –Smt Priti Patel & Smt Vyjayanthi Kashi and 2 Yuva Bismillah Khan Awardees – Anuj Mishra & Prateeksha Kashi.
  • The only Competitions which is open to individuals, Schools, Colleges, Universities and Corporate Companies apart from Professional Dance Institutions.
  • Apart from Cash Prize, the Winning Teams of the Group Competition (Senior Category) get the perform on the main stage amidst legends. Winners of the Solo Competition (Senior Category) are given Titles, Scholarships and Performance Opportunities to further motivate them.
  • The only fair to exhibit a Dancer’s Wall featuring brochures of dancers who have successfully completed their Arengetrams/Rangapraveshams.
  • A unique Photo Exhibition featuring the best moments captured on stage, of legends and dancers in limelight.
